4 Tips for Designing your Family Christmas Card - Joanna Joy Photography
One photo = Big Impact
This type of card really stands out among a group of cards – there is not a collection of images to distract the eye – all focus is on one stand out image!
Choose Colors Carefully
Don’t limit yourself to reds. So many labs offer great templates – Tiny Prints or Minted – choose colors that match your session.
Don’t Hodge Podge
Use a collection of images with one look but mix up the type of image, use a close up, a candid action type shot, and a more formal full length pose
A fun laughing image will convey how your family feels and interacts together – esp if you send cards every year, it’s ok to skip the formal pose and go candid!
