Seven Falls Hike
This is what makes an Arizona photographer happy. Hiking – desert flowers, rocky cliffs, and snakes underfoot. I don’t think water can be appreciated elsewhere like it is here in dry country. If you haven’t’ hiked Seven Falls in Sabino Canyon yet put that on your to do list!
8 miles round trip – pack water like a camel!
Lots of wild life – though I missed the photo of the black snake with orange ring on his neck – he was fast and little – less then 10 inches. The boys saw a bigger black snake with yellow and white stripes. I just photographed the pretty stuff. The flowers, the giggling girls, the chilly waterfalls!
Friends from Tempe escaped the urban jungle to join us chasing frogs and scaling cliffs – somehow good company makes climbing a bajillion stone steps less painful!
