Cienega Creek Hike - Vail Photographer
Vail Photographer
I love to hike. If you don’t know that yet then we just don’t know each other enough. Stick around. We will! My father is a land surveyor and family hikes are my favorite memories! I’m following tradition and training my children to venture away from Wifi. Sometimes I coerce extended family to join our adventures. We stayed close to home in Vail for this mini hike.
Beautiful golden light. Folks if your photographer asks you to pose on train tracks – REFUSE! If you wont do it for safety at least refuse in the name of good taste! Seriously, for safety, say No Thank You. There is golden light everywhere – your photographer should be able to compose a beautiful shot without putting you and your family at risk. These tracks are active!
How did he get here? Why is he here? Is he train spotting? Is he a railway enthusiast? These questions will remain unanswered. He refused to talk to us.
What makes hikes exciting? More exciting the random purple bears? Dead rattlesnakes. No we did not kill this one. This was maybe 20 feet behind the bear? What kind of altercation left a snake dead and a teddy bear sitting calmly. You start watching the ground really really close after spotting this!
I asked my local Eagle Scout what he thought these prints are. We decided we wanted them to be Arizona Wildcat paw prints – in honor of University of Arizona Wildcats.
