What to expect - senior photos at u of a
Locations: University of Arizona senior photos are all shot on campus. Depending on your major, we may start at the Eller building or medical campus and then finish up at Old Main and other spots in that area. I don't guarantee specific spots at Old Main as there can be a line and wait for places like the stairs. However if there is a "must have" shot you like, please share with me and we'll work to get that one done!
Timeline: Sessions are weekday evenings and weekends. Most sessions last about an hour to an hour and a half. We prefer to schedule in the last few hours before sunset for the prettiest light. However, Senior year can be busy and morning sessions are also an option!
Number of Outfits: Usually 3 max. Typically a professional outfit for your LinkedIn headshot, then something dressier with the cap and gown. You're welcome to bring a casual outfit as well - we can shoot this as time allows.
FAQ
Can I bring a friend?
Yes! A friend will make you smile and be comfortable! We can also get a few shots of the two of you together! Plus we always need help carrying clothes and water bottles etc.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Just be sure to bring a "dog handler" - someone to be in charge of the dog while we are doing your other shots. Also bring his favorite treats! This can help with getting him to look at the camera. Finally, bring water! Sessions in spring can be hot and with so much commotion on campus, your pup may get excitable and thristy.
Do you do group sessions?
Yes! Let me know how many people are in our group, I'll create a custom quote. We'll divide the session time accordingly. Each person gets less images then a solo session but everyone still walks away with enough images to celebrate this accomplishment! We can do a mix of group photos and individuals of each person.
what to wear for your grad photos
I recommend at least 2 outfits for your Senior photo session. The first outfit would be something professional for your LinkedIn profile photos. The second outfit could be a white dress or something dressy with the cap and gown.
